As an Illinois State Certified Childcare Director, our executive director, Ms. Myla, has completed extensive coursework in the fields of early childhood education making her an expert in her field. She has worked in education for over a decade and has serviced schools both in the state of Illinois and Missouri. Child development has been her passion. As director, each and everyday, she strives to provide the little ones in her care with a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment.
After 16 years of serving as an Illinois State certified educator, Ms. Tiffany is now an Assistant Director at AWR. She has worked with children of all ages and has served as a mentor to new teachers. She plans our social events and is responsible for all the fun activities you see happening at the center. Tiffany has two kids of her own at home and considers everyone at AWR to be part of her family.
Serving as an assistant director, Ms. Keisha is a Missouri State certified teacher and presently holds an undergraduate degree in Middle School Education from Harris-Stowe State University and a Masters in Education from Lindenwood University with an emphasis in child development. As a child advocate, Keisha is continually researching age appropriate curriculum and social enrichment opportunities to allow each child to reach their full potential.
